This Friday, Extropy’s Transforming Out Loud community holds its first Think Tank: a small, closed-door session bringing together AP transformation leaders to talk honestly about what’s actually happening inside their organizations right now.
There are no vendors in the room, no slides, and no pitching. Just practitioners comparing notes on the part of transformation that rarely makes it into a case study: the people side.
Ravit, who built the Think Tank and leads Transforming Out Loud, put it this way:
“The people carrying the hardest transformation work are the ones with the fewest places to think out loud about it. They’re expected to have answers about AI, about automation, about what the function looks like in three years, while they’re still holding the close together.”
That tension is the reason the room exists. Attendees set the agenda themselves. There’s no bar to clear to participate, no finished strategy required, and half-formed thinking is welcome. Extropy will share the themes that come out of the discussion afterward, but never the names attached to them.
Getting here took about three months of quiet groundwork: identifying the right group of leaders, building trust in the format, and making sure the room felt safe enough for people to actually say what they’re thinking. Friday is the first time it comes together in person.
If you lead AP transformation and you’re wondering whether there’s a room like this for you, there’s a simple way to find out: reach out. Extropy would rather hear from you directly than have you wait to be invited to a future cohort.
